Legend says that many years ago, Darkrai, the pitch black Pokemon, terrorized the world, inflicting it's nightmare curse, a rare curse that forces the victim into eternal sleep and never ending nightmares, to all that were unlucky enough to stand in it's way. This happened for years, but one day a new Pokemon named Cresselia, the Lunar Pokemon, opposed it. Cresselia and Darkrai were equal and Cresselia knew it. Cresselia had no choice but to find away to imprison them both. Cresselia took pieces of the moon to create an orb and placed it on a faraway island. She then used all of her powers to imprison both Darkrai and herself inside of the orb. It is said that if you go to the orb during a full or new moon, something amazing will happen.
